Terms of Service

Welcome to slime.hq. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website at slimehq.live and our related community features, including our Discord bot, the /settwitch command, the on-site Slime Chat (and its opt-in stream overlay), and our members-only guild portal (together, the "Service"). Please read them carefully. By accessing the Service or opting in to be featured, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. About the Service

slime.hq (the "Service," "we," "us," or "our") is a community website that highlights members of our community, shows when participating creators are live on Twitch, and lists community events. The Service is operated on a volunteer basis and may be supported by advertising (see the Advertising section below). We do not host, re-encode, or rebroadcast any video. Live video is displayed exclusively through Twitch's own official embedded player and remains served by, and subject to, Twitch.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (the minimum age for Discord and Twitch) and old enough to form a binding agreement in your jurisdiction; if you are a minor, you may use the Service only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian. You are responsible for complying with the terms of any third-party platform you use in connection with the Service, including Twitch and Discord.

3. What the Service Does

• Displays public profile information (such as display name and avatar) of community members who hold the @creator role in our Discord server;
• For creators who opt in, detects their public Twitch live status and embeds and links to their public Twitch stream and channels;
• Lists scheduled community events created in our Discord server;
• Provides Slime Chat, our own text chat. You can post as a guest under a temporary display name, or connect with Discord to post under your Discord name and avatar (connecting adds you to our Discord server). Slime Chat is shared with the #watch-party channel in our Discord server: messages posted on the site appear there, and messages posted there appear on the site. Slime Chat is operated by us and is not Twitch chat. It does not read, relay, or rebroadcast Twitch's chat. Slime Chat resets weekly, so only the current week's messages are shown;
• Offers creators an optional stream overlay (an OBS browser source) that displays Slime Chat over the creator's own stream. The overlay is read-only and shows only our site-native Slime Chat; it does not display, read, relay, or rebroadcast Twitch's video or Twitch's chat.

We do not guarantee that any feature will be available, accurate, or uninterrupted, and we may add, change, or remove features at any time.

Live availability and community links. The homepage player and slime.hq live-stream promo follow the same recent public live-status check, which can be delayed. When no creator is live, we offer recent videos or creator links; when a check fails or expires, we label the status unavailable. A live label is not a promise that a stream will continue or that Twitch playback will work on your device. The Join community link opens our existing Discord invite, where Discord's terms and privacy policy apply and you decide whether to join.

4. Opt-In & Creator Participation

Being featured is entirely voluntary and opt-in. You are featured for live detection only if you (a) hold the @creator role in our Discord, and (b) voluntarily link your Twitch handle yourself using the /settwitch command. You may opt out at any time using /removetwitch, by leaving the Discord, or by asking an admin to remove your role.

By opting in, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display your public profile information, your provided Twitch handle, your public live status, and to embed your public Twitch stream and link to your channels, solely for the purpose of operating the Service. You represent and warrant that you have the right to grant this license and that you control any account you link. This license ends when you opt out (subject to caching and normal technical delays).

5. Use at Your Own Risk

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. You use the Service at your own risk. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, that live status or any information shown will be timely or accurate, or that your stream will be detected or displayed.

6. No Financial or Performance Promises

Participation is free and provides no payment, compensation, revenue share, or financial benefit of any kind. We make no promise or guarantee of viewership, followers, subscribers, donations, growth, exposure, results, or any other outcome. Nothing in these Terms or the Service creates an employment, partnership, agency, joint-venture, or fiduciary relationship between you and us. Any decision you make in reliance on the Service is your own.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Violate any law or the terms of Twitch, Discord, or any other platform;
• Stream, link, or promote content that is illegal, infringing, hateful, harassing, threatening, sexually exploitative, or otherwise objectionable;
• Impersonate any person, our staff, or the slime.hq brand, or link a Twitch (or other) account you do not control;
• Post, in Slime Chat or elsewhere, spam, advertising, scams, malware, unsolicited links or invites, or another person's private or personal information;
• Flood, automate, or otherwise abuse Slime Chat or any messaging feature;
• Interfere with, abuse, overload, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, the bot, or related systems.

We may remove any content, creator, or participant, and revoke the @creator role or featuring, at our sole discretion, at any time, with or without notice.

8. Slime Chat (Community Chat)

Slime Chat is a public chat we operate for community fun. It is our own feature and is not Twitch chat; we do not read, store, relay, or rebroadcast Twitch's chat, and using Slime Chat is not a substitute for Twitch's own chat or terms. There are two ways to post:

• As a guest. You do not need an account; you choose a temporary display name, which is not verified, is not reserved to you, and may be reused by others. Guest messages are labeled "guest".
• Connected with Discord. You sign in with Discord and authorize us to add your account to the slime.hq Discord server; Discord's authorization screen shows this as "Join servers for you", and nothing happens unless you approve it. If you are not already a member, connecting adds you to our server, where Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines and our server rules apply. Your messages then show your Discord display name, avatar, and any community badges (such as creator or guild). You can choose Disconnect on the site at any time, and you can leave the server at any time in Discord; disconnecting does not remove you from the server.

Shared with our Discord. Slime Chat and the #watch-party channel in our Discord server are one conversation. Messages posted on the site are delivered into that channel under your guest name or Discord identity, and messages members post in that channel are shown publicly on slimehq.live (including on creators' stream overlays). By posting in #watch-party you agree that your message, Discord display name, and avatar may be displayed on the site; the channel's topic and pinned message say so. Messages in that channel are stored by Discord under Discord's terms, and a message deleted in Discord, by you or by a moderator, is removed from the site.

You are solely responsible for everything you post. By posting, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, store, and moderate your messages for the purpose of operating the Service, and you confirm your message does not violate the Acceptable Use rules above or any law. Messages are public, so do not post anything private, sensitive, or that you would not want others to see. Because messages are public, they may also be displayed in real time on creators' stream overlays (for example, on a Twitch broadcast) and may be captured in recordings or clips of those streams, which we do not control.

We may, but are not obligated to, filter, edit, delay, remove, or refuse any message, and limit, suspend, or block any visitor or network, at any time and at our sole discretion, with or without notice. We do not pre-screen messages and are not responsible for content posted by visitors; messages express the views of their authors, not slime.hq. As an interactive computer service, we act only as a venue for messages our users create, and users are solely responsible for their own messages (see 47 U.S.C. § 230). Displaying a message (including on a creator's stream overlay) does not mean we or the creator endorse it, and it grants us and creators no rights in your message beyond displaying it as part of the Service. Messages live in the #watch-party channel on Discord, and the site keeps only short-lived labeling and rate-limit records (see our Privacy Policy). Slime Chat also resets weekly: only the current week's messages are displayed, and earlier messages roll off automatically. Slime Chat is intended for visitors who are at least 13 years old.

9. Guild Portal (Members-Only Area)

Parts of the Service (for example, our Throne & Liberty guild portal) are available only to verified members of our Discord server who hold a specific guild role. Access requires signing in with your Discord account so we can confirm your membership and role; see our Privacy Policy for exactly what that involves. Access is a privilege of guild membership: your Discord membership and guild role are re-verified periodically, so it may be revoked at any time and locks again automatically if you lose the role or leave the server, and members-only content and links are intended for guild members and may not be scraped, reposted, or shared outside the guild.

Members-only content includes game data (such as gear stats and drop sources compiled from public game databases) and guild information (such as roster, combat power, and activity figures compiled from the in-game guild panel and member submissions). It is provided AS IS for the guild's convenience: game data changes with patches, theorycrafted builds are untested suggestions and not guarantees of any in-game result, compatible core defaults are screened for slot, selected-form and prerequisite validity but do not establish best combat output, eligible casts are not successful core procs and cannot rank unrelated effects, comparison-panel cast proxies do not prove a damage winner, and role recommendations retain their stated encounter conditions, and heroic weapon damage remains unranked against Epic weapons without a common upgrade basis, any performance or DPS figures shown are unverified estimates compiled from third-party creators and community tier lists (not measured or reproducible parses) and must not be relied on, and roster figures may be incomplete or out of date. Where the portal names a build as best for a given skill core or type of content, or reports that no build can host a core in a given type of content, that describes only the builds published on this portal under our own measurements, and is not a claim about the game as a whole. Per-card Wear These item loadouts follow the same rule: each row names the item our own captured data scores highest for that card's stated design, its grade and set, and its source; that is one scored answer on our records, revisited when a game-data batch is recaptured, and it is not a claim that any listed item is best-in-slot in the game as a whole. Your Specializations plans are the same rule applied to which nodes to set: the end state our own data derives from the card's points table, capped at the game's measured point ceiling and skipping trap and superseded rows, not a statement of what the game requires. Gear, rune and trait recommendations are weighted by our own damage model, which uses aggregate statistics of publicly shared character builds on questlog.gg as its reference character, with its assumptions stated on our Disclaimer page; they are guidance, not a promise of in-game results. If you are a guild member and want your roster entry corrected or removed, contact us (see Contact below).

Archboss weapon recommendations. Builds such as Ramux Spear with Sword & Shield (Steelheart) are community theorycraft for the stated game mode. A weapon or core effect supported by linked game records or official patch notes does not mean we have tested the full build. Check the card's patch date, assumptions, and equipment requirements before changing your gear; recommendations may change with later patches and do not guarantee performance. Game names, weapons, skills, and classes belong to their respective rights holders, and including them in a guide does not imply publisher approval.

Dedicated core builds and comparisons. A heroic Orb build using Enraged Tevent's Corruption is a recommendation derived from published game records, not a tested PvP result. When a card or comparison names a build as a core's best home, that refers only to the portal's published builds, captured data, and stated comparison criteria. It may omit viable alternatives and does not establish a universal meta ranking or guarantee results in a match. Comparisons of Morokai Gladiator and estimates of status application are outputs of that model, with patch and encounter assumptions, rather than measured GvG combat results. Repaired comparisons distinguish selected skill forms and self-protection from enemy debuffs, keep conditional uptime unknown, and omit absent, stale or unmatched protection inputs from the shared scoring basis. Partial role scores describe qualified cast and duration opportunities; they do not prove successful crowd control, effective health, or a universal GvG winner. Check the card's current sources, assumptions, and equipment requirements before changing your build.

Spellblade comparisons. The joint skill and gear-core plan assigns Absolute Zero and Ice Mist by purchasing ground targeting, with a stated tradeoff in retreating movement and immediate line control. Frostbite Bind requires successful stack applications and target residence; area Stealth is conditional and ends on attacking. Field duration and regrant restrictions do not establish repeated Stealth grants in one cast. Our post-4.15 Staff & Dagger Spellblade GvG recommendation uses patch-specific passive-trigger requirements, updated captured equipment values, and the candidate plans listed with the build for an unrestricted endgame setup. Best means the preferred listed plan under the stated sources, matchup and model assumptions. It does not cover every possible setup or measure real combat performance. Human execution, enemy defenses and crowd control, target contact time, resource use, and unverified passive uptime may change the outcome. Captured tooltip values and modeled opportunities are not actual combat parses, and the recommendation does not guarantee results or establish a universal meta or best-in-slot build.

GvG build optimization. GvG recommendations compare complete skill, specialization, mastery, core and equipment plans for each stated role. A preferred or strongest reviewed plan means the selected source-qualified candidate under the published role criteria, captured data and equipment constraints. Candidate comparisons may omit viable configurations and do not establish universal combat superiority. Conditional activation, target contact, resource use, client coexistence and actual CC or proc rates may remain unmeasured. Native effects on an ordinary weapon use no extra extracted core; one Heroic weapon remains the constraint. Item snapshots at unlike upgrade levels are not treated as equivalent statistical bases. Check the plan's requirements and tradeoffs before committing equipment.

Frontline and capture-role comparisons. Crusader protection and control choices and Berserker avoidance and objective-denial choices compare the reviewed source-qualified skill, equipment and mastery plans. Defensive effects depend on their stated activation, enemy resistance, resources, positioning and capture rules. These recommendations do not measure survival time, guarantee evasion or uncontested capture, or establish a universally strongest build. Movement, stealth, defense and other actions are not assumed to preserve capture eligibility unless that interaction is verified.

Single-target guild-boss damage comparisons. Crucifix recommendations compare complete source-qualified weapon, native-effect, skill and equipment plans for personal damage against one boss. Printed monster bonuses, eligible hit and Orb counts, aura residence, resource costs and cooldown conditions are kept explicit. Source packet expressions and conditional comparisons are not measured sustained DPS, a guaranteed boss ranking or proof of a universally best build. Unverified mark accumulation, effect overlap, animation timing, personal stats and post-upgrade behavior are identified as limits.

Guild Portal presentation. The Portal refresh reorganizes navigation, build cards and details and updates typography, colors and layouts for different screen sizes. It can use locally installed Turkish Microgramma for display text and Eurostile for body text, with readable fallback fonts. The site supplies no copies of those font files. Existing game records, recommendations, ratings, source qualifications, verification limits and guild-access terms continue to apply. Visual emphasis and card placement are presentation choices; build claims retain their disclosed sources and limits, including whether performance has been measured.

Scout group-burst comparisons. These comparisons model damage packets and published effect delays under stated target, hit, stack, weapon and resource assumptions. Conditional recommendations select among the reviewed source-qualified plans. They do not measure time to kill, guarantee group kills or establish a universally best build. Published effects and item values can change with patches; missing action timings, interactions and actual target contact remain stated limits.

Scorpion group-burst comparisons. These comparisons model damage packets and published effect delays under stated target, hit, stack, weapon and resource assumptions. Conditional recommendations select among the reviewed source-qualified plans. They do not measure time to kill, guarantee group kills or establish a universally best build. Published effects and item values can change with patches; missing action timings, interactions and actual target contact remain stated limits.

Guild build catalog and reference tools. The portal groups build cards by content and keeps Core Finder, Tree Ladders, Best in Environment, Compare Two Cores, and rating explanations in Misc. A reviewed card records checked skill, specialization, equipment and source choices; it does not guarantee combat performance or prove a global best build. Source databases can lag published patches, and missing mechanics, cast timing, target contact and resource behavior remain stated limitations. Visible core assignments and empty-slot explanations distinguish selected cores, recorded activation conditions and unverified effects; they do not establish measured damage benefits or guaranteed combat results. Comparisons use the assumptions shown with each tool or card.

Weekly raid boss vote. The portal includes a members-only poll for the weekly guild raid. Each member may record up to three boss picks per week from a single Discord account, and voting closes at 7:00pm Eastern on Monday; the compiled order is then shown with the most-voted boss placed last, and bosses with no votes do not qualify. Using more than one account, or otherwise trying to cast extra votes, is a breach of these Terms and may cost you portal access. The result is advisory input for whoever runs the raid, not a binding commitment: raid leaders may change the roster or order for any reason, and the vote may be paused, reset, or discontinued at any time. 10. Community Media, Clips & Recordings

Our community spaces (including our Discord server, community streams, voice channels, and community events) are social, on-the-record spaces. Activity in them may be recorded, clipped, screenshotted, or otherwise captured, and highlights may be edited and shared on the Service and on our official social channels. By joining or participating in community spaces, you acknowledge this and, to the fullest extent permitted by law, consent to your voice, gameplay, username, avatar, and chat appearing in such community media, without compensation. If you are a minor, your parent or legal guardian must consent to your participation.

Removal on request: if you appear in community media and want it taken down, email us (see Contact) identifying the specific content. We will remove it from the channels we control promptly. We cannot recall copies made by third parties while the content was available.

11. Content & Intellectual Property

You retain all rights to your own streams, channels, and content; we claim no ownership over them. Embedded Twitch content belongs to the respective streamers and/or Twitch. The slime.hq name, branding, site design, and code are owned by us and may not be copied or reused without permission. If you believe content displayed via the Service infringes your rights, contact us (see below) and we will address it promptly.

Copyright complaints (DMCA): the full notice-and-takedown procedure lives on its own page: see Copyright & DMCA. We have not yet registered a designated agent with the U.S. Copyright Office; until we do, that page gives the copyright contact to which notices should be sent, and it will be updated with the designated agent once registration is complete. It lists the six elements a takedown notice must contain, sets out the counter-notification and restoration procedure, and states our repeat infringer policy. We have adopted and do implement a policy providing for termination, in appropriate circumstances, of the participation of repeat infringers, including removal of the @creator role and site listing, revocation of guild portal access, and removal from our Discord server. The details, including how strikes are counted and withdrawn, are on the Copyright & DMCA page and are incorporated into these Terms by reference.

12. Third-Party Services & No Affiliation

The Service relies on and links to third-party services we do not control, including Twitch, Discord, Cloudflare, and Google. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and policies, and we are not responsible for them. slime.hq is an independent fan/community project and is not affiliated with, endorsed, sponsored, or approved by Twitch, Discord, Amazon, Google, or any game publisher. All trademarks belong to their respective owners.

12A. Advertising

The Service may display third-party advertisements served by Google (AdSense). Ads on slime.hq are non-personalized: we configure Google not to use personal data to target ads on this site. Advertisers and their content are not endorsed, reviewed, or verified by us. Any dealings between you and an advertiser, including any purchase or reliance on an advertiser's claims, are solely between you and that advertiser, and to the maximum extent permitted by law we are not liable for advertiser products, services, or claims. See our Privacy Policy for how ads work here.

13. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

See our Disclaimer for additional terms, which are incorporated here by reference. To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event will we (or our operators, volunteers, or contributors) be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, viewership, or opportunity, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Service, even if advised of the possibility. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the Service will not exceed USD $100. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless slime.hq and its operators from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your content, your use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms or any third-party rights.

14b. Purchases from the Store

The slime.hq store sells physical goods, and a purchase is governed by its own store policies: who you are buying from, price, shipping, the shipment window, returns and refunds, and what happens to the details you give at checkout. Those policies are part of these Terms for anyone who buys, and where they differ from these Terms on anything to do with a purchase, the store policies govern the purchase.

Payment is taken by a third-party payment processor on its own hosted page; we never see or store your full card number. Goods are printed to order and shipped by a third-party manufacturer on our instruction, which does not change who you contracted with. Nothing in these Terms limits a consumer-protection right that the law of your state gives you and does not allow to be waived.

15. Changes & Termination

We may update these Terms from time to time; the "Last updated" date reflects the latest version, and your continued use after changes means you accept them. We may suspend, restrict, or terminate the Service or your access to it at any time, for any reason, without notice.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree that any dispute not resolved informally will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Massachusetts, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.

17. Dispute Resolution

Most concerns can be resolved quickly; talk to us first. Before filing any claim against us, you agree to email us (see Contact) a written description of the issue and what you want done, and to give us 30 days to work with you toward an informal resolution. To the fullest extent permitted by law: (a) any claim arising out of or relating to the Service must be brought within one (1) year after the claim arises, or it is permanently barred; and (b) disputes will be resolved on an individual basis only, and you and we each waive any right to participate in a class, collective, consolidated, or representative action.

18. General

If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be limited or severed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force. These Terms, together with the incorporated Disclaimer and Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of it. You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them, and the operation of the Service, to a successor (including a business entity formed by the current operator), and these Terms continue to apply. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including licenses you grant, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnification, and this section) survive.
